After rain, Houston insurance claims stream in (Houston Chronicle)
The insurance claims poured in Monday after a night of heavy rain that lasted through the morning. Agents said homeowners and drivers reported water damage to cars and a few inches of water in homes throughout the city. State Farm had received 300 home and 375 auto claims by Monday evening, spokesman Kevin Davis said.
